Why is it that when I direct deposit funds to someone else, the funds are removed immediately but when someone pays me by direct deposit, if it falls on a Thursday, I don't receive the money until Monday? It seems to me that the transactions are actually immediate and that ANZ are just making money in interest. Shame on them! They (and all banks I know of) are a profit hungry pig and I am a struggling Australian that relies on the fictitious notion of honest banks that give the small bloke a fair go! They are what is wrong with the our country and the world in general these days. Here endeth the rant!
