Information Required For Accounts:
In order to open a bank account in Australia, you will be required to supply the following information and supporting documents:
PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION
Australian government legislation requires that customers of financial institutions opening a new account provide personal identification to the value of 100 points. Below is a summary of acceptable forms of personal identification and their value.
PRIMARY SOURCES
